Inka Bause (55), presenter of the RTL dating show “Bauer sucht Frau”, has spoken out in favor of greater recognition of the work of farmers. “Thank you to the farmers who feed us and who we have to value more. But who are also facing a turning point,” she wrote on her Instagram account on the occasion of the farmers’ protests; supplemented by a photo of her sitting on a tractor. And: “In a democracy, which I consider to be absolutely worth protecting, everyone has the right to freedom of expression and to express it loudly. I also raised my daughter not to just complain, but to act.”

At the same time, the presenter and singer wrote: “No one has the right to harass or threaten another person. I think that is to prevent other people from doing their work and to block traffic routes in such a way that emergency exits are no longer possible at least negligent.”

With a view to the social situation in Germany, Bause explained: “We all live in these frightening, unsettling, restless times. We are all afraid of AI, old age poverty, austerity, war and change in general. Please let us remain sensible, each other strengthen, support the weaker. Let us fight together for more social justice, stand up for pacifism, against arms deliveries to all countries.”
