Pop musician Tim Bendzko (37, “Hoch”) has been able to talk to other people more quickly since the birth of his son. “I think it’s crazy how quickly you suddenly get close to strangers because you’ve just become a father. You’re immediately on the same level and can talk,” said Bendzko of the German Press Agency. “I’m not that good at small talk. The father topic helps a lot there.”
The offspring of the Berlin singer, who lives near Potsdam, was born a little more than two years ago. At first he was annoying with reports about his son. “In the first year I really felt sorry for the others. You notice very quickly when someone doesn’t really know what to do with the subject, which I also understand. That was the case with me before.”
On Friday (March 31), Bendzko will release his fifth album “April”. In the ballad “Für dich” the 37-year-old sings about the birth of his son and the feelings of being a father.
