With a picture of the Spanish metropolis, she first explains why she moved there in the first place: “I settled in Barcelona to give my children stability,” writes the 46-year-old. She wants to offer her kids the said stability “now in another corner of the world”.
The departure is to be understood as a “new chapter in the search for happiness”, the post continues. She could not resist a dig at her ex-husband Gerard Piqué, 36, whom she does not mention by name.

It is not known exactly where Shakira and the two children Milan, 10, and Sasha, 8, are moving to. According to reports, it is conceivable that they will move to the USA together, more precisely to Miami in the state of Florida. The singer’s family lives there.
Colombian singer Shakira and Spanish soccer star Piqué, who recently announced his retirement, ended their relationship in June 2022. The two were in a relationship for twelve years.
