Jamie Foxx (55) should be better after an emergency. This was announced by the Hollywood star’s family. The actor had a “medical complication,” his daughter Corinne Foxx (29) said in a statement on Instagram. Jamie Foxx is “already on the mend,” it said. The Oscar winner was recently spotted filming Netflix’s Back in Action in Atlanta, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
Corinne Foxx wrote on Instagram: “We wanted to share that my father, Jamie Foxx, had a medical complication yesterday. Luckily with quick action and great care he is already on the mend.” She added, “We know how much he is loved and appreciate your prayers. The family requests privacy during this time.” The US celebrity portal “TMZ” had previously reported that Jamie Foxx had allegedly been taken to a hospital.
In the film “Back in Action” Jamie Foxx is again in front of the camera with Cameron Diaz (50). She had taken an eight-year hiatus from acting before Foxx apparently convinced her to come back to star in the action comedy. Her last film starring Foxx was 2014’s Annie. According to US media reports, Glenn Close (76) will also shoot with the two on “Back in Action”. “Kill the Boss” star Seth Gordon (46) is the director of the film.
During an appearance on The Tonight Show last fall, Cameron Diaz spoke about how “great” it is to be working with Foxx. “He’s so great, he’s so straightforward, he’s so professional, he’s so talented,” she said. “Being able to work with him will be so much fun.”
