Hollywood star Jeremy Renner (52) has fought back to life after a serious accident with a snow plow. Just a few days ago, the actor was able to visit a California amusement park with some family members. Shortly thereafter, he celebrated his comeback on the red carpet. Now the US star has once again personally thanked his lifesavers.

In Instagram stories that are now no longer available, reported by the US magazine “People”, among others, it was seen how Renner met employees at the Renown Regional Medical Center, a hospital in Reno, Nevada. “I was able to revisit this incredible group of people who saved my life,” the 52-year-old wrote in a group photo. In other stories, Renner was seen with a walking stick in front of a hospital sign and with a surgeon, whom he thanked.

The actor, known among other things as superhero Hawkeye from several Marvel films, was run over by his own snow plow on New Year’s Day and suffered life-threatening injuries. Only a little later he had reported from the hospital bed and announced that he had suffered more than 30 broken bones.

On April 11, he made his red carpet comeback with a walking stick and a small scooter. He attended the premiere of his docu-series Rennervations, which premiered April 12 on Disney. He explained to the industry magazine “Variety” that he did not want to postpone the premiere. “I was really adamant that they didn’t push things back here […]”, explained Renner. He may “still look a bit battered”, but he has “set the goal of walking this red carpet”.
