Since Daniel Craig (55) announced his departure as James Bond in 2019, the rumor mill has been bubbling: Which actor will follow in the footsteps of the five-time 007 actor – and become the new spy in His Majesty’s Secret Service? British bookmakers naturally take bets on this question, and at least one of the providers has now emerged as a new favorite to play Bond.

According to the British “Mirror”, the betting provider Coral has been at the top of the list of favorites to succeed Craig as Bond since the latest actor James Norton (37). A spokesman for the bookmaker said: “We have seen a strong surge of support for James Norton in our Bond successor betting and as such he is the new favorite to replace Daniel Craig as 007”.

Directly after Norton, who became known through the BBC series “Happy Valley” (2014-2023), among other things, the previous favorites follow in the other places. “Bullet Train” star Aaron Taylor-Johnson (32) is in second place, followed by ex-Superman actor Henry Cavill (39) in third place. “Bridgerton” star Rege-Jean Page (34) and muscle man Tom Hardy (45) complete the top 5.
