British Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe has become a father for the first time. The 33-year-old and his longtime partner Erin Darke have had a child, the British news agency PA reported, citing a spokesman for Radcliffe.
It was not initially known whether it was a boy or a girl. Born in London, Radcliffe became world famous as a teenager in the role of the wizard’s apprentice Harry Potter.
He reportedly met his partner Darke on the set of the 2013 film Kill Your Darlings, in which Radcliffe plays American poet Allen Ginsberg, with whom Darke’s Gwendolyn falls in love.
The American Darke, 38, has also acted in the series “Good Girl Revolt” and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel”. The couple lives partly in the UK and partly in the US.
