Little information is made public about the current condition of the sick actor Jamie Foxx (55, “Django Unchained”). On April 12, he was taken to a hospital in Georgia, where he is still, after “medical complications” while filming “Back in Action.”

In the days after his admission, it was initially reported that the prominent patient was already doing better and that he only had to undergo a series of medical tests. Hollywood is concerned that he is still in the hospital more than three weeks later.

As the celebrity magazine “TMZ” reports, close friends of the superstar are now even urgently calling for prayers for him. “We have spoken to sources close to Jamie who are making the same request – ‘Pray for Jamie’,” it said.

The magazine leaves open the exact sources. In fact, there are a few social media posts by people close to Foxx calling for prayer for him.

About his close friend Charles Alston, a hip-hop musician who goes by the name Charlie Mack. On May 1, he posted a picture on Instagram with his hands clasped in prayer against a black background and the words “Pray for Foxx!!!!!!!!!”. He wrote: “Good morning Instagram I need you all to say hello to our beloved brother @iamjamiefoxx who we all love

Shortly after his admission to the hospital, his film partner Kerry Washington (46) protested in an Instagram post that she was praying for Jamie Foxx. There she wrote: “Sending you all my love and prayers, my film husband.”

On April 23, comedian and rapper Nick Cannon gave Entertainment Tonight magazine an update on Foxx’s health condition. It read: “Oh man I’m praying. See I posted on Instagram. I literally prayed out loud. Words of encouragement to my big brother.”

While Foxx remains in the hospital, “Back in Action” continues filming with a body double – until the original can return to action.
