Amrei Haardt (33) is seven months pregnant. The Cologne native is expecting her first child with her husband Chris, whom she married in 2020. From May, the “Everything that counts” actress says goodbye to the baby break. “I couldn’t be happier about this miracle and I’m very grateful,” explains the expectant mother, who is expecting a girl, in an interview. “The anticipation increases every day.” Haardt has already published a first baby bump photo on Instagram.

Since 2019 she has been playing the role of Nathalie von Altenburg in the RTL Daily (Monday to Friday at 7:05 p.m. on RTL and on RTL) with interruptions, alongside “AWZ” veteran Francisco Medina (46), who impersonates her husband Maximilian. The two roles are currently going through a miscarriage on the show. “Honestly, that wasn’t easy for me,” explains Haardt about the plot, which contrasts with her private happiness. “I had to struggle with a lot of fears and luckily I had a great environment that was always able to get me out of the mood.”

Nevertheless, the story was also very important to her, “because I know that being pregnant is not a matter of course and I can’t imagine how terrible it must be for those affected who have to go through something similar to Nathalie and Maximilian”. Regarding her baby break, she explains that she can’t imagine not being in front of the camera from now on. “If we’re all doing well, I’ll be very happy if I can work again at some point and I really take my colleague Ania [Niedieck, editor’s note] as a role model. How she does it every day with her children and Coping with the job is a mystery to me and I admire her more by the minute, by the day. I hope I can do just as great at it.”
