Unknown perpetrators seriously injured an 18-year-old in Bremen with kicks and punches. Now investigators are looking for witnesses. According to initial findings, a group of about ten young men followed the 18-year-old on Sunday night when he left a club, the police said. They repeatedly beat the young man and kicked him in the head when he was already on the ground. A 24-year-old witness who threw herself protectively over the 18-year-old was also attacked by the group. The young man was taken to a hospital with serious head injuries.
When emergency services arrived, the attackers fled. According to the police, a 20-year-old and two 21-year-olds were taken to a station as suspects. However, investigations into the background and other people involved in the crime are ongoing. Potential witnesses are therefore asked to contact the permanent criminal service.
