Influencer Cathy Hummels said goodbye to her former home in Munich with a flea market. “I want to give my beautiful things a new home,” said the 35-year-old. For example, clothes, furniture, bags and crockery changed hands. Her new home is much smaller than the villa she lived in with ex-husband Mats Hummels. That’s why she doesn’t take a lot with her. Memories hung on clothing or furniture. “But you have to be able to let go in life.”

The influencer revealed that her son Ludwig found it much easier to part with his toys. If his things are sold, the five-year-old is allowed to put the amount in his piggy bank. A portion of the total proceeds will be donated to the organization “A Heart for Children”.

Cathy Hummels said she originally intended to sell her stuff on an online platform. “But I still have this beautiful, large villa for two days. So why not make a happening out of it? It’s good for the soul.” She was supported by family members such as her sister, cousin and grandma.

Many guests were attracted by the style of the influencer or the joy of second-hand shopping. A customer said of Hummels: “I admire her for her perseverance. And then to sell all the things for a good cause and not just throw them away, I think it’s great.”
