Since the bloody accident during her concert in Hanover, countless fans have been worried about Helene Fischer’s (38) well-being. According to the first statements of a spokeswoman for the concert organizer Live Nation, from which several media quote, the pop singer is doing “accordingly well under the circumstances”. Accordingly, Fischer had already been treated in a hospital after the accident on Sunday evening (June 18), in which she hit her head on a trapeze bar and suffered a laceration above her nose.
The star has now been able to leave the clinic in Hanover, it is said. It is not clear from the statement whether she has sustained any other injuries in addition to the wound. Fans who have a ticket for the upcoming concerts in Cologne obviously don’t have to worry: the next performances should take place as planned. The final appearance in Hanover was the end of the first half of the tour anyway, in Cologne Fischer will only play from August 25th.
During an acrobatic number, floating above the stage, the singer hit a trapeze bar with full force. Bleeding, she finished her song before turning to the audience: “I have to put it away first, dear ones, everything is fine.” But it quickly became clear that she could not continue. After about a quarter of an hour, the organizer announced that Fischer would not be returning to the stage. The concert ended prematurely after an hour.
The accident was the second injury-related setback for the hit queen this year. Even before the start of the “Rausch” tour, which should have been in mid-March this year, she sustained a rib fracture during rehearsals. After “urgent medical advice”, the start of the tour was then postponed by about three weeks to April.
