In Mirow, where Princess Sophie Charlotte zu Mecklenburg-Strelitz was born and spent the first 17 years of her life until her marriage to King George III of England. The manager of Schloss Mirow, Susanne Bocher, watched the series and immediately launched a special tour on the childhood and youth of the future Queen Charlotte. “We present her youth and her journey to England,” says Bocher. She expects demand primarily from individual tourists. “Our bus tour groups, which consist primarily of seniors, don’t watch Netflix,” she says. The hype goes past them.
