Science has long thought that women are like men. Just a little smaller, more complicated and not quite as cool (irony off).
The result of this thinking is slowly becoming bitterly clear to us. In medicine, there has been talk of the “gender data gap” for a few years. Drugs have hardly been tested on women for years. Because of menstruation, menopause, pregnancy and contraceptives, it was considered too complicated. The dosage of many drugs is therefore based on tests with male test subjects.
