With a touching post on Instagram, Gisele Bündchen (43) says goodbye to her mother Vânia Nonnenmacher, who died on January 28th at the age of 75. “Beloved mom, it hurts to know that I can no longer hug you, but I know that you will always watch over us,” the Brazilian supermodel wrote on several photos.
In one of the pictures the deceased can be seen with her daughter Gisele in front of a rainbow, in another photo the two are hugging. In addition, Nonnenmacher’s husband Valdir Bündchen and the model’s sisters are also pictured in other photos.
“You were an angel on earth and always helped everyone around you,” Bündchen continues. She is “so grateful to have been your daughter and to have learned from you. Thank you for being the best role model of love, strength, compassion, courage and grace.” The 43-year-old wants to always cherish the beautiful memories they shared and continue to live according to the values that her mother taught her.
Bündchen also thanks her sisters. Her mother gave her “five best friends for life.” “Your love will always guide us. I will see you in my dreams. I love you.”
The Moinhos de Vento Hospital in Porto Alegre announced on Sunday that Vânia Nonnenmacher was admitted on January 26th and died on January 28th as a result of cancer.
