Sophie Turner (27) and Kit Harington (37) celebrated success with the HBO fantasy series “Game of Thrones”. Now the two acting stars can look forward to a new joint project. They will be in front of the camera for the gothic horror film “The Dreadful,” as “Deadline” reports.
The script is written by Natasha Kermani, who will also direct. The film is about Anne (Turner) and her mother-in-law Morwen, who lead a lonely, hard life on the fringes of society. “But when a man (Harington) returns from her past, he sets in motion a series of events that become a turning point for Anne,” Deadline says in the plot description.
In the HBO series “Game of Thrones”, which is based on a series of fantasy novels by George R. R. Martin (75), Turner played the role of Sansa Stark and Harington played the role of Jon Snow. Both were nominated for, among other things, an Emmy for their performance. “GoT” ended with season eight in 2019. Turner was then seen in the film “Do Revenge” (2022), among others, and Harington starred in the Marvel film “Eternals” in 2021.
