At the 77th Cannes Film Festival, model Heidi Klum (50) proves how to make a film-worthy appearance even without acting training. Together with her daughter, Leni Klum (20), she struts down the red carpet of the amfAR “Cinema Against Aids” gala in an old-pink tulle dress. The voluminous blush fabric literally wraps around her model measurements, which the “Germany’s next Top Model” boss has so far presented openly during the film festival on the Côte d’Azur, which lasted several days. A long train, gelled-back hair, diamond earrings and elegant make-up complete the glamorous appearance. Her most beautiful accessory, however, is her eldest daughter, whom she hugs and kisses in front of the photographers, as documented by the British “Daily Mail” and others.
Media professional Heidi Klum, who celebrates her 51st birthday on June 1st, knows how headlines are made. But her 20-year-old daughter has also learned how the business works: she is causing a fashion sensation with an almost transparent black net dress. Only a few balls of fabric gathered in the shape of roses cover the bare essentials. A daring look, but still classic – at least compared to Klum’s extravagant appearance.
In an interview with the US magazine “People” around two years ago, young model Leni Klum said about her and her famous mother’s fashion taste: “My mom and I have completely different tastes. I’m more minimalist with a few pieces that stand out here and there. She’s a maximalist.”
Leni Klum is the eldest of Heidi’s four children and comes from a relationship with the Italian Formula 1 manager Flavio Briatore (73), with whom the model was briefly together. The Rhineland native has been married to Tokio Hotel musician Tom Kaulitz (34) since 2019.
