Victoria Beckham (49) doesn’t want to become a grandmother yet. The singer and entrepreneur made this clear in an interview with “Vogue”. “What?! Wait. I don’t think it’s happening yet, unless you know something I don’t know,” the mother of four says with mock panic in the amusing clip.
Nevertheless, the star would be very happy to become a grandma one day: “If I’m hopefully blessed one day, that would be wonderful,” she explains and adds: “But we’re not there yet!” Two years ago, her eldest son Brooklyn Beckham (24) married actress Nicola Peltz (29). However, the young couple apparently has no prospect of having children of their own yet. Brooklyn’s younger siblings such as 21-year-old Romeo and Cruz Beckham, who is three years younger, also seem to be a long way from family planning.
Victoria Beckham’s main concern is that her children are well, she reveals in an interview with Vogue. “As a mother, all you want is for your children to be happy, right?” She is happy about the marriage of her eldest son Brooklyn, who seems to have found happiness with his wife, who is five years older than him. “Nicola is wonderful and I think she’s so talented and so passionate about everything she does,” enthuses Beckham. “And she and Brooklyn are super happy, which is wonderful to see.”
It remains to be seen whether the happy couple will soon have offspring. A few months after the wedding, Brooklyn Beckham told Entertainment Tonight: “I would like to start a family soon, but only when my wife is ready.”
