Enrique Iglesias (48) had already announced in 2021 that he only wanted to release two albums. After “Final Vol. 1” (2021), the second part of the double whammy is now imminent. “Final Vol. 2” will be released on March 29, 2024.
“For me, as I said, it was always my last album,” the singer made it clear in November 2023: “That’s it. “I don’t think I’ll record any more albums,” confirmed the Spaniard. “No, I do knows it”.
But Enrique Iglesias doesn’t say goodbye to his fans completely. He will continue touring and recording singles. His new single “Fria” has just been released. The collaboration with the Cuban Yotuel (47) is the second release from “Final Vol. 2”.
At the end of 2023, Enrique Iglesias was on tour. He traveled through North America with his Latin pop competitor Ricky Martin (52) and the rapper Pitbull (42).
Enrique Iglesias began his music career in the 1990s, following in the footsteps of his father, the Spanish superstar Julio Iglesias (80). At the turn of the millennium he also took off in English, for example with the global hit single “Hero” (2001). In his career he released eleven studio albums and three greatest hits compilations. He has sold 180 million records.
After not releasing any more albums, Enrique Iglesias has more time for his family. He has three children with the former Russian tennis player Anna Kurnikova (42), the twins Lucy and Nicholas, who were born in 2017, and Mary, who was born in 2020.
