Prince Harry (39) caused a stir with his autobiography “Reserve” (original: “Spare”) at the beginning of 2023. Now the royal could soon even receive a prize for his memoirs. The book is nominated in two categories at the British Book Awards. “Reserve” could be awarded in the “Non-fiction: Narrative” and “Audio Book Non-Fiction” categories.

His book has prominent competition. Britney Spears’ “The Woman in Me” is also nominated in the “Non-Fiction Narrative” category. The singer’s autobiography was published in October 2023. In it she looks back very openly on her life so far and polarized people with her revelations. Among other things, she reveals details about the problematic relationship with Justin Timberlake (43) and her abortion.

Prince Harry published his tell-all book in January 2023. He also caused a stir with his memoirs. This is how he describes his broken relationship with his brother Prince William (41) and his father King Charles III. (75). His stepmother Queen Camilla (76) and his sister-in-law Princess Kate (42) also get rid of their fat in it. “Spare” broke a record in January: No other memoir sold as many copies in the USA after one week as Prince Harry’s (around 1.6 million copies). Spears’ book had sold “only” 1.1 million copies there after a week.

The British Book Awards, also known as the Nibbies, take place on May 13th.
