At the 96th Academy Awards, the surreal drama “Poor Things” by Greek filmmaker Giorgos Lanthimos (50) just won an impressive four Academy Awards. “Poor Things” celebrated its acclaimed world premiere at the Venice Film Festival in September last year. The drama, in which Emma Stone’s character Bella Baxter is given the brain of her own unborn child, was awarded a total of four trophies at the Oscars on March 10th, including Stone’s Award for “Best Costume Design” and “Best Make-up”. up”.

In Lanthimos’ follow-up work “Kinds of Kindness”, the newly crowned Oscar winner Stone takes on the leading role. Nothing is currently known about the plot. Filming for “Kinds of Kindness” was completed in New Orleans at the end of 2022.
