The song “Komet” by Udo Lindenberg and Apache 207 is Germany’s longest number one hit of all time. This was announced by GfK Entertainment as investigator of the Official German Charts on Friday in Baden-Baden. “Komet” has now been at number one in the charts a total of 18 times.

Two international productions were up 17 weeks each: the summer hit “Despacito” by Latin pop singer Luis Fonsi and rapper Daddy Yankee from 2017 and the catchy tune “Rivers of Babylon” by the disco formation Boney M. from 1978.

Katja Krasavice also made it into the top ten with the “most beautiful ass in the world”. For her current song in seventh place, she has teamed up with DJ great Felix Jaehn.

The most popular albums include “Love Songs” by Seeed frontman Peter Fox (number one), “Gartenstadt” by Apache 207 (number two) and “Speak Now” by US pop singer Taylor Swift on number three.
