The Wacken Open Air is actually more for fans of the harder tonality. However, not everything played there is metal. Heino has been on stage before. The Cologne dialect group Höhner also. And now also flowers. However, some metal fans couldn’t explain what she was doing among the rockers from Lord of the Lost.

The fact that Jasmin Wagner, as Blümchen is actually called, was allowed to take the microphone as a special guest of the dark rock band is mainly due to the fact that she worked on the group’s last album last year. Together with the singer Chris Harms, she recorded a cover version of the Roxette hit “The Look” – which they now also performed at their appearance in Wacken.

As expected, the guest performance caused mixed feelings among the assembled heavy metal friends. On Facebook, Wacken fans asked themselves: “Blümchen and Lord of the Lost sing a song by Roxette in Wacken … and encourage the audience to sing along, but they don’t feel like it … why?” Or also: “Why do you let them on the property?”

Despite a few wrinkled metal noses, Jasmin “Blümchen” Wagner obviously didn’t let her good mood spoil in Wacken. On Instagram before the performance, she posted a photo of herself in front of the festival’s iconic “Bullhead” logo and cheerfully captioned it with “Mud monster! Can’t wait to sing with Lord of the Lost tonight!”
