Bayern newcomer Harry Kane (30) just celebrated his Bundesliga debut with a goal. Now the captain of the English national team can look forward to the birth of his fourth child. Today, Kane shared the good news with his more than 15.8 million followers on his Instagram channel. His wife and childhood sweetheart Katie Goodland gave birth to a son yesterday, Sunday (August 20).
The little boy goes by the name of Henry Edward Kane, according to his father in his affectionate Instagram post, which also reveals the date of birth. Katie Goodland was already heavily pregnant when Kane signed and presented to FC Bayern Munich. According to media reports, she is said to have looked around for private clinics in the Bavarian state capital for the birth of her child, which had triggered fears in England that Kane Junior could one day appear for the German national soccer team.
But as “The Sun” was able to determine in meticulous detective work, Henry Edward Kane apparently saw the light of day on the island. Because on Papa Kane’s two Instagram pictures you can see both a typical British socket and an English caption. Henry Edward Kane will therefore only be eligible to play for the “Three Lions”.
Knowing each other from school, Harry Kane and Katie Goodland got engaged in July 2017 and tied the knot two years later. The couple already has three children together: daughters Ivy (6) and Vivienne (5) and son Louis (2). Kane is said to have switched from Tottenham Hotspur to Bayern Munich for a fee of 100 million euros. The 30-year-old’s contract runs until 2027.
