A good two months after her stage accident, hit queen Helene Fischer continued her “Rausch” tour in Cologne on Friday evening. “I’m extremely emotional today,” said the 39-year-old to her 15,000 fans in the Lanxess Arena.
“It feels great to be back on stage,” she said. “I feel fantastic.” In June, Fischer injured his face during a performance in Hanover, and the concert had to be cancelled. It was the last concert before an already planned summer break as part of their mega tour.
As usual, Fischer delivered a perfect show in Cologne. Together with artists from the Cirque du Soleil, she sometimes also took part in daring acrobatic numbers, swinging at lofty heights on the trapeze. The audience clapped and sang along enthusiastically to songs like “With no other” or “Null to 100”. Sometimes the singer stood in a circle of fire, sometimes in the middle of a waterfall.
The tour started a few weeks later than planned in spring because Fischer broke a rib while rehearsing. That’s why the Cologne concerts were postponed. Now the Schlagerqueen should be on stage at six more concerts in Cologne until September 2nd.
