Not only was it a special venue, it was probably a magical night for Take That fans. Robbie Williams (49) sang for the audience on August 26 on the grounds of the Sandringham Estate and also welcomed Mark Owen (51), his colleague from the cult boy band Take That.
The organizer Heritage Live published impressions of Williams’ performance on Instagram. “Wow, that was absolutely great, what a stunning show,” says a short clip on the platform. In addition, among other things, a photo can be seen in which the singer is shown with his colleague Owens – when they appear together, where he hugs him from behind.
The two performed the song “Greatest Day” together, as reported by the British “Daily Mail”. It was therefore the first time in more than a decade that they were on stage together.
A small series of concerts is currently taking place at the country estate of the British Royals in the county of Norfolk, where the royal family usually spends Christmas. Van Morrison (77) performed on Friday, Robbie Williams on Saturday and Sunday, and a concert by The Who is planned for Monday.
Giles Cooper of Heritage Live told BBC Radio Norfolk ahead of the event: “We’re expecting around 20,000 people a night, particularly on the Robbie Williams nights. It’s about an experience for people to meet some of their favorite [artists]. the most idyllic and extraordinary place.”
