While the stabbing, which apparently grew out of an internal showdown in the criminal environment, took place in the vicinity of Monmouth School, was the school’s employees, students and teachers joined to a christmas event inside the school.
Although the majority of children and parents have already gone home, as the violent events unfolded in the immediate vicinity of the school, got the police work in the area, yet the consequences for some of those participating in the event.
“the School’s parking lot was blocked of, and because, at that time, had not yet found the perpetrator, wanted the police to keep the people inside in the school,” says Heidi Munch Pedersen.
Therefore, there was a period in the course of the evening, where parents and pupils were tilbagholdt at the school. Heidi Munch Pedersen tells, however, that the only thing you could see from the school buildings, was the blue flashing light from politibilerne. Therefore, the children were – fortunately – not an eyewitness to the violent scenes that occurred in the vicinity shortly before.
“But students are of course influenced by the situation and what they have read in the media. That’s why we call them Friday, and takes a good talk about what has happened,” says Heidi Munch Jacobsen.
Because the students have not been witness to the violent incident, they will not be offered counselling.
A 23-year-old man lost their lives as a result of the stabbing, which occurred at Birkerød Parkvej Thursday evening.
on the Night of Friday was a 21-year-old man arrested for the killing, and The Police suspect that the motive for the stabbing is to be found in an internal showdown in the criminal environment.
in Addition to the 21-year-old man, three more persons have been arrested in the case – all of the men, respectively 18, 20 and 27 years old.
