Jamal Khashoggi, was killed at the saudi consulate in Istanbul in October.
Monday fell the verdict against the five perpetrators, who is to be executed. But the Khashoggis fiancée, Hatice Cengiz, is far from satisfied.
“the Resolution is illegal to to be be acceptable. It is unacceptable,” says Cengiz to news agency the Associated Press, according to the New York Post.
What it exactly means, she explains not, but I wonder if it has something to do with the fact that Saudi Arabia’s crown prince, Mohammad bin Salman, as in the international circles is suspected to be the real backer, not have been accused in the case.
It is due to, among other things, a report produced by the CIA, which found that the crown prince had given the order to beat Khashoggi to death.
Bin Salmans former closest advisor, Saud al-Qahtani has been included in the investigation. But there was no criminal charge was filed against him.
Three other people were together sentenced to 24 years in prison in court.
“the Court delivered death sentences against the five men, who directly took part in the killing,” said prosecutor according to AFP.
the Reason for the killing is supposed to be, that Khashoggi has written critically of the saudi crown prince.

‘it was justice done for Jamal Khashoggis children. We put our trust in the saudi judicial system at all levels, when it is judged in our favor, and we obtained justice,’ he says via Twitter.
There was a total of 11 persons indicted for the killing of the journalist.
