summer, sun, sunshine, temperatures rise, the snakes, the ice cream man are long and longer, the evenings take anyway, and for me, the spring of freedom and Wanderlust-feelings increase exponentially. Ripe for the island, summer, sun, beach and tenderness? Definitely! But instead of starting in the South, it’s in my office. At the end of may and still no holidays in sight. Corona, thank, there will be this year, neither the holiday Rebound holiday by myself. No good prospects for holiday flirts and acquaintances. The sun, to experience what a lift – but fortunately also on the patio.
As I sit now with Flo, we drink “Schorl”, in the blink in the sun and think of where we would like to travel if time, money, Corona, and our ecological Conscience would allow it. Bora-Bora, Cancun, Fiji, Galapagos, Crete, Mauritius, Seychelles white sand beaches, crystal clear water, sun-cream smeared faces, and the salt crusts on the tan – we’re gone.
Ferntindern instead of long-distance travel
My-Single-friend Flo and I have a Ritual, we tindern like. In this case, each is allowed to take over the Account of the other for exactly 10 minutes, who has collected at the end of longer Matches, get the next Drink output. Well, at least the supply to the Non-Corona-times. New times, new game: “tell me, did you getindert been abroad?”, asks Flo suddenly and looks at me with his anticipation grin.
16,49 Euro later, we hold the passport to our holiday fantasies in the Hand. With Tinder Plus, my first trip will be to Vancouver. On Canada’s West coast, I wanted to make, finally, still on holiday, and if it does not allow the financial and world health technical barriers, then so be it. Without the packing, airport security and Jet Lag and also cheaper and more CO2-efficient than a long-haul flight, swipe I removed 8.400 km through the canadian world of men:
Doug sailed in a canoe on a deep blue lake, Scott jumps off a cliff down, Chris is posing with a Baby bear in the Rockies, Robin, get some sun on the boat, Trevor is walking along the coast, Josh sits with his guitar on the beach and Liam was caught in the surf Board under the Arm – all my Canada-operated clichés, and I have a Match with Scott, Robin and Josh. Flo pulls it in the meantime to California. In San Francisco he meets Lauren in the Cable Car, ending up at Liz’s house at Ocean Beach and look at Mary in the Lombard Street. I continued my Canada tour the fort and visit Edmonton, Ottawa, Toronto and Québec, while Flo makes the American West coast, still uncertain. I have to say – it’s really fun.
flirt to go
a message from Josh: “Girl, you are pretty far away” – “Yes. I know,” returned to write and because I want to get the holiday magic a little more upright, I ask him how our Date would look like if we could see us now. “Well, we could go to the beach, have a picnic, I’ll bring my guitar and some wine and we’ll sit and talk till the sun goes down and the stars go up.” Okay, it’s a bit cheesy, but somehow also very sweet and just a pretty great idea to sit with Josh at Kits Beach and look out on the Pacific ocean.
But since we would get to know us here and there, with 1.5 meters of safety distance, it makes actually no difference whether Josh lives a or 10,000 km away. So then, I’m on a world tour. And my Single is not a swipe-insight 047: Why in the distance.
