Actor Rafael Geisen (“The Irish Crime”) withdrew from social media some time ago and is enjoying it. “Turning away from social media was a liberating experience for me,” said the 29-year-old to the German Press Agency in Berlin.
Geisen’s last visible Instagram post was from March 2020; the entries on Twitter and X are even older. “Recently it’s been very exciting for me to broaden my field of vision again and to focus, regardless of the speed around you, on all the little beautiful things that have so often remained hidden from you. Completely rule out a return I wouldn’t though.”
Gareisen can now be seen in “Irland-Krimi” in the ARD media library (linear broadcast: Thursday, October 12th, 8:15 p.m., Das Erste). The new episode with him as Désirée Nosbusch’s son is called “Blackout”. It’s about a witness with patchy memory.
