Kailia Posey’s cause-of-death has not been revealed
According to her family, Kailia Posey, star of “Toddlers and Tiaras”, has passed away at 16 years old.
Marcy Posey, Kailia’s mother, posted a Facebook photo of Kailia Monday, confirming her death.
She wrote, “I don’t have any words or thoughts.” “A beautiful baby girl has died. We are deeply sorry for the loss of Kailia. Please respect our privacy. My baby, forever.”
Kailia’s cause has not yet been revealed.
She started her career on “Toddlers and Tiaras,” a TLC program that also launched the career Alana “Honey Boo Boo Boo”.
TLC’s TLC Show lasted seven seasons and was cancelled in 2013. The series followed young families as they competed in beauty pageants.
Kailia continued to take part in pageants after her time on the show, and was most recently a contestant in Miss Washington Teen USA in February.
“I am going to compete in Miss Washington teen USA February and I’m so excited!” She wrote the following Instagram post.
Kailia posted photos of herself after the pageant and captioned them with “One word.” Thankful.”
