Lucas Reiber (30) is the new one in “A Strong Team”. Another episode of the ZDF crime series with the working title “The Dead Murderer” has been in production since October 12th, for which the actor is in front of the camera for the first time as Inspector Nils Makowski. Florian Martens (64) and Stefanie Stappenbeck (49) can still be seen in their roles as chief inspectors Otto Garber and Linett Wachow. Matthi Faust (43), who has been there as Commissioner Sebastian Klöckner since 2017, says goodbye to the series. However, viewers will still see him in a total of five “A Strong Team” episodes that will be broadcast this year and 2024.
Like Martens and Stappenbeck, “The Dead Murderer” also stars Arnfried Lerche (born 1952) as department head Lothar Reddemann, Eva Sixt (born 1967) as forensic pathologist Dr. Gabriele Simkeit and Jaecki Schwarz (77) return as ex-police officer Sputnik. Robert Kuchenbuch (born 1967), Steffen Groth (49) and Valerie Koch (49) can be seen in episode roles. The new edition is currently being filmed in Berlin and Brandenburg, and filming for the 98th case is scheduled to continue until mid-November.
In it, Lars Schilling (Kuchenbuch) is run over by a car in a lonely parking lot. The team begins the murder investigation and it soon becomes clear that Schilling served 15 years in prison for the murder of his girlfriend and was recently released. Several people from his environment, including his ex-accomplice, become suspects.
