The future Queen Crown Princess Elisabeth of Belgium celebrated her 22nd birthday this Wednesday (October 25th). For this festive occasion, the Belgian royal family shared two enchanting portraits of the daughter of Queen Mathilde (50) and King Philippe (63) on social networks, which show a confident, glamorous heir to the throne.

The now 22-year-old beams with joy and looks into the camera in her official portrait. She casually put her hands in her trouser pockets. She wears a striking navy blue top with a plunging neckline and sparkling embroidery. The Duchess of Brabant paired it with simple, dark blue suit trousers and completed the look with diamond earrings. Her hair falls in soft waves over Elisabeth’s shoulders.

On social networks such as Instagram, Elisabeth receives a number of benevolent comments for her magical portraits. In addition to birthday wishes, users also celebrate the look of the crown princess. “She looks absolutely gorgeous! I love the sequin embroidered top, it’s fun and chic!” it says.

“I love that the new royal generation has their own style,” says another user. A third person wrote simply: “The ever beautiful princess. Happy birthday, Your Highness.”

The palace also delights users on social networks with a little news from the life of the Crown Princess. “She recently began her final year of studying for a bachelor’s degree in history and political science at the University of Oxford,” the birthday post reads. Elisabeth began her studies in autumn 2021 after previously studying for a year at the Royal Military Academy in Brussels.
