The American actor Richard Moll is dead. Moll became famous with the TV sitcom Harry’s Miraculous Criminal Court. A spokesman for the family told the German Press Agency that he died “peacefully” on Thursday in his home in Big Bear Lake, California. He was 80 years old.

In the hit sitcom “Harry’s Miraculous Criminal Court”, about a criminal court in Manhattan, the six-foot-tall actor played bailiff Bull Shannon. He shaved his head for the role. The series ran in the USA from 1984 to 1992.

Moll had many TV roles and also appeared in numerous films. In the Stone Age comedy “Caveman – The One Came Out of the Cave” (1981) he appeared alongside Ringo Starr and Barbara Bach. He had small roles in the comedy “Trabbi goes to Hollywood” with Thomas Gottschalk, in “Flintstones – The Flintstones” and in the Christmas film “Promised is Promised” with Arnold Schwarzenegger.
