British Prime Minister Rishi Sunak wants to discuss the dangers of artificial intelligence (AI) with tech billionaire Elon Musk in a conversation broadcast on the short message service X. Sunak announced this in a post on X, which was previously called Twitter and has been owned by Musk for a year.

“In conversation with @elonmusk after the AI security summit on Thursday evening on @x,” said the statement from the British government headquarters at 10 Downing Street. An animated image of the black door of the official residence in London was also shown, with house number 10 transformed into the social network’s new X symbol.

The British Conservative Prime Minister has scheduled an international conference on AI security in Great Britain for Wednesday and Thursday. Among those expected to attend are US Vice President Kamala Harris and Federal Economics Minister Robert Habeck (Greens). After Sunak’s post, British media speculated that Musk would also attend the conference.
