Agents of the National Police have arrested two people in Valencia, a woman and a man, both 32 years old, for defrauding foreigners who were charged 480 euros for managing the appointment with foreigners and thus regularize their situation in Spain. One of the people the other was a collaborator who managed the collections.

The investigations were initiated by the Provincial Immigration Brigade after four foreigners appeared who allegedly had an appointment to process their immigration files and found that their appointment was false, as reported by the National Police in a statement.

As a result of the investigation, the agents have found out that a woman of Colombian origin was posing as a lawyer and director of a professional office to manage the appointments of people with foreigners and thus regularize their situation in Spain, with which she charged about 480 euros to each person to carry out the procedures.

Finally, the agents have arrested the woman and a collaborator who helped her manage the collections, as alleged perpetrators of four fraud crimes. The National Police continues efforts to identify more victims.
