The Ribeiro Designation of Origin is one of the oldest in Spain and the oldest in Galicia. High-quality whites and reds have been produced there for centuries. One of its peculiarities is the distinction between ‘adegas’ (cellars) and ‘colleiteiros’. ‘Colleiteiro’ is understood as a winery that produces less than 60,000 liters a year and only from its own harvested grapes, without being able to acquire grapes from other winegrowers. Within this section is Cuñas Davia, a small family project that seeks to reclaim its village, a historic area of the Denomination.

Its white barrel is a ‘coupage’ of Treixadura and Albariño. However, due to the fact that the high daytime temperatures during the summer can cause a drop in acidity in these varieties, their latest vintage also has a percentage of white caíño, which helps maintain freshness and round off the whole.

Fermented and aged on its lees in French and Hungarian oak barrels for three months, it is vibrant and aromatic. The floral and stone fruit aromas stand out both on the nose and in its long and pleasant finish. A great representative of its origin.
