The life of billionaire Elon Musk (52) is coming to the big screen. As the industry magazine “Variety” reports, the production company A24 has started work on the film adaptation of a best-selling biography about the Tesla boss. The director has also already been decided: American star filmmaker Darren Aronofsky (54) will take on the matter. Aronofsky became one of the most sought-after directors of recent years with films such as “The Wrestler”, “Black Swan”, “The Fighter” and “The Whale”.

The book “Elon Musk” by journalist Walter Isaacson (71) serves as the basis. His biography “Steve Jobs” has also already been made into a film with Michael Fassbender (46) in the lead role. As the report goes on to say, there was a heated competition behind the scenes over the rights to the biopic. Ultimately, A24 won the contract.
