A big highlight for music fans is coming up in Cologne on September 13: Muse will grace the city. The British rock band, which was founded in the nineties, builds on bombast musically and visually. They have sold more than 30 million albums worldwide, have received numerous awards for their music and their stage shows are regularly recognized. With their extremely elaborate light and laser shows, they fill arenas around the world and burn themselves into the minds of their viewers forever.
They last played in Cologne in 2019 in front of 50,000 fans in the Rheinenergie Stadium. The concert at the digital fair “Digital X” should now be one size smaller and therefore a very special one. The trio will play on September 13th as part of the “Telekom Street Gigs” in Cologne’s MediaPark.
Some of the limited tickets for the concert are available for participants of the “Digital X” fair. Telekom customers can secure the other part free of charge from today, September 1, at 6 p.m. But everyone else can also be there live when the Grammy-winning rock band goes on stage. The concert will be broadcast live on the station from around 8:30 p.m
The timing for the appearance at the world exhibition of digitization could not be better: The new album “Will Of The People” was released at the end of August. In addition to new songs, classics such as “Uprising” or “Starlight” will also be played, Telekom announced in a press release. Frontman Matt Bellamy (44) is also quoted there: “We are really looking forward to the fans in Germany and to presenting our new songs to them at Digital X.”
