Moderator Amira Pocher spoke in a podcast about her emotional state after the fuss surrounding her separation from comedian Oliver Pocher. “I reached my limits physically and mentally, it wasn’t nice,” the 31-year-old told her brother Ibrahim in the first episode of the Podimo podcast “Dear Life.”
In a conversation with her brother, Amira Pocher also referred to Instagram posts that Oliver had dedicated to her with emotional words, including on the occasion of her birthday at the end of September. “Of course they touched me. But they would have touched me even more if they had come in person. But nothing ever came in person.” She added: “If Olli had invested as much strength and power and fought for our marriage as he is doing now for his own profit and to make me look completely stupid, then we would still be together now.”
Of course she loved him, the 31-year-old made it clear. “If you wanted to read our marriage contract, you would know exactly what I wanted it to be: love!” She wanted no money, no gain, no real estate. “I just wanted our marriage and to live happily.”
Oliver (45) and Amira Pocher announced their separation at the end of August; they had been a couple since 2016, married since 2019 and have two sons together. The moderator recently announced in a Podimo podcast with his ex-wife Sandy Meyer-Wölden that he wanted to deal with the separation with humor.
Regarding her private situation, Amira said: “I don’t have a new person in my life. The only new person in my life is myself. I have found and rediscovered myself completely.” But now she’s “really in the mood” for love. “I’m looking forward to butterflies in my stomach. To giggles.”
