“Let’s Dance” star Oana Nechiti has landed her first acting role. It has been known for a long time that the professional dancer was in front of the camera for the ARD telenovela “Rote Rosen” (Monday to Friday on Erste). Now more details are known: The episodes with Nechiti will be broadcast between November 24th and 29th.
A first photo from the set shows Nechiti hand in hand with actor Hakim-Michael Meziani (56). An accompanying press release states: “On the set, Oana Nechiti also floated across the stage with one or two actors outside of the official filming.”
In “Rote Rosen” Nechiti will be seen as a dance coach. Carla (Maria Fuchs, 48) is planning a dance event in her restaurant to polish up its image. The jealous Gunter (Hermann Toelcke, 70), as the new owner of the “Carlas”, is supposed to work together with his competitor Silvio (Alberto Ruano, 49). Gunter wants to impress Merle (Anja Franke, 59) at the charity dance event and quickly asks Oana for salsa coaching. Merle is amused by so much commitment. And Gunter feels confirmed when Merle chooses him as a dance partner for the final dance. Until Carla brings him back down to earth…
