Star chef Johann Lafer (66) is celebrating his debut on “Kitchen Impossible” this year. As VOX announced, the station will broadcast the Christmas edition of the show at the beginning of December. Lafer and Tim Mälzer (52) compete against the two chefs Tim Raue (49) and Hans Neuner (47). Each team must prepare a given Christmas feast. The aim is to defeat the other team with their performance.
To make the task as difficult as possible, each pair sends their opponents to a country they have chosen with special traditions. Lafer and Mälzer try their hand in Warsaw, Raue and Neuner in Malta. To increase the level of difficulty even further, they don’t prepare traditional dishes, but rather recreate star-level Christmas dishes.
In Warsaw, the duo visits star Polish chef Wojciech Modest Amaro, who shows them recipes from his late mother-in-law that are inspired by classic Christmas dishes. The Malta team takes on the challenge of a large gastronomic family: a feast for around 60 people.
The TV audience will find out who will take home the win in “Kitchen Impossible – The Christmas Edition” on December 3rd from 8:15 p.m. on VOX.
