Don’t wait too long. In today’s society, the age at which family planning begins has slipped back significantly. In the 1970s, women still had children around their 20s, today around their 30s or often even later. However, this is no longer the physiologically most favorable age to become pregnant. Two factors come together with advancing age: the number of oocytes decreases, as does the quality of the oocytes. Unfortunately, these points cannot be ignored.
