Former Beatles drummer Ringo Starr (82) has tested positive for the corona virus for the second time in just a few weeks.
“I’m sure you’re just as surprised that I tested positive for Covid again,” the musician wrote on his social media. He would now cancel the rest of his tour. This month there were concerts in California and Mexico City.
Only on Monday did he announce that after a positive diagnosis in early October he was negative again and would continue his tour in Seattle and Portland. Previously, the ex-Beatle had to cancel appearances in the USA and Canada due to illness.
