The Swiss entertainer Hazel Brugger (29) doesn’t like to see herself in formats – but has now found a way to endure it better.
“I don’t like looking at things where I’m there when I see and hear myself,” Brugger told the dpa in Berlin. “But I think dubbing is a great way to get in there because you look different but sound similar to your usual self.” The comedian is the German voice of Dahlia, the best friend of the main character Asha, in the new Disney film “Wish”.
It is her first role as a voice actress. “Wish” will be in German cinemas on November 30th. She adapted her voice a bit for the animated musical film. “It was really fun,” said Brugger, who is known from the ZDF satirical show “heute show”.
