After more than twenty years in the USA: Rock star Ozzy Osbourne (74) and his wife Sharon (71) have moved back to their British homeland. Sharon Osbourne revealed this on the podcast “Woman’s Hour”. Instead of Los Angeles, the Osbournes now live in a country house in Buckinghamshire.

There Ozzy Osbourne is said to be fighting his Parkinson’s disease in peace. “Because where we live in the country there are no snoopers and it’s not a busy little town,” said Sharon Osbourne. “We have a lot of land so he can run around and pursue his hobbies without being disturbed,” said the singer’s wife and manager.

Ozzy Osbourne revealed three years ago that he was suffering from Parkinson’s disease. The former Black Sabbath frontman is also still suffering from the long-term effects of an accident with a quad bike in 2003. In recent years he has had to undergo several operations, and according to his own statement, some of the procedures went wrong. The Englishman also had a tumor removed from his spine.

But the return to England doesn’t just have to do with Ozzy Osbourne’s health problems. Sharon Osbourne no longer felt comfortable in the USA. In her eyes, Los Angeles has changed for the worse. She never saw herself as particularly American anyway and feels more at home in England. “It was just time,” she said of returning home. “I miss the culture here, the lifestyle.”
