Oliver Pocher has been attracting attention for a long time with attacks on the influencer scene. In his Instagram videos and postings, he criticizes, among other things, that many influencers market their private lives.
The model Anna Wilken, who became known in 2014 from the casting show “Germany’s next top model”, was also repeatedly the target of his attacks. But at the beginning of October, Pocher went too far. “If you make a discount code out of your miscarriage, the low point has been reached …” Pocher wrote in an Insta story for a post by the 26-year-old in which she advertised the jewelry brand Pandora.
Wilken, who has been officially Anna Adamyan since her marriage to professional soccer player Sargis Adamyan, who is under contract with 1. FC Köln, suffered a miscarriage at the end of 2021 and informed her fans of this at the beginning of December. Ten months later she wrote on the Instagram post quoted by Pocher: “Slowly but surely I’m going uphill. I finally feel better again and above all I am myself – finally again.”
With the words, Wilken was referring to her recovery from the flu, not the miscarriage. Although Pocher deleted his hateful post shortly thereafter, the hatred was already in the world: the influencer received countless insults, which she shared on Instagram.
A limit was crossed for Wilken: In her Insta story, she announced on Saturday evening that she wanted to take legal action. “I struggled with myself for a long time and finally decided to show my backbone because I didn’t do that in the last year and I still regret it to this day,” Adamyan wrote. In her post, she did not name Pocher, only spoke of “said comedian”. He had already ridiculed her “joy at the announcement of my pregnancy” last year. “He stops neither in joy nor in sadness.” She no longer wanted to be intimidated.
Anna Wilken earns money through advertising and marketing via Instagram. But she also uses her celebrity to draw the attention of her 500,000 followers to the disease endometriosis. She suffers from it herself and therefore has problems getting pregnant. She is very open about her illness on social media – and also reported on her stay in a fertility clinic.
Her fans witnessed the great joy felt about her pregnancy. And the deep sadness that the loss of her child caused her.
In addition to all the pain, she also had to put up with Pocher’s malice on social media. But Wilken has now reached the point where she fights back. Two weeks ago, Wilken said clear words about Pocher’s accusation: “My miscarriage was 3/4 years ago and is never connected to advertising.”
