A trial against actor Jonathan Majors (34) began in New York City on November 29th. He is accused of attacking his ex-girlfriend earlier this year. As US media consistently report, Majors faces a prison sentence of up to one year if he is found guilty.

According to the industry magazine “Variety”, Majors appeared in court on Wednesday along with actress Meagan Good (42). There were first reports of a possible relationship between the two in May – just a few weeks after the alleged incident that is said to have occurred with his ex-girlfriend, Grace Jabbari.

Majors was accused of domestic violence after an alleged altercation in March. The actor from films such as “Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania” and “Creed III – Rocky’s Legacy” as well as the series “Loki” and his former partner then accused each other. The lawsuit involves alleged assault and harassment.

According to the report, there has been a protection order in place since April, according to which Majors was not allowed to contact Jabbari. Both had been briefly arrested in recent months – Majors in March, Jabbari in October. He had also accused her of domestic violence. However, the public prosecutor’s office declined to prosecute the allegations against the actor’s ex-girlfriend. The Marvel star has pleaded not guilty to the four counts in which Majors is charged. Majors’ spokesman had previously denied the allegations.
