TV commissioner Stefanie Stappenbeck founded a clique when she was at school. But it consisted of only two people: Stefanie Stappenbeck herself and her school friend Romy, as the actress told the dpa interview. “It was called BB18, and if you wanted to get in, you had to do scary things as an initiation ritual.

For example, eat worms with your eyes closed – well, it was spaghetti,” the 48-year-old recalled with a laugh. “Unfortunately, it then – just about that – only stayed with the two members of us. We were both equally interested in politics, books and absurdities.” Since 2016, the Berliner has been investigating in the role of Linett Wachow on the ZDF ratings hit “A Strong Team”.

Her series colleague Florian Martens (63), who plays Otto Garber, said: “I was in several cliques during my school days and youth. Sometimes as a leader, sometimes as a clown or just (in the older cliques) a welcome follower. But there were no set roles. We partyed a lot, drank a lot and above all laughed a lot! And my main clique still exists today (for over 45 years).”

In the thriller “A Strong Team – School Days” this Saturday at 8:15 p.m., a murder on the sidelines of a class reunion occupies the investigator duo. Linett is haunted by unpleasant memories.
