The German Weather Service (DWD) expects temperatures of up to eleven degrees in Rhineland-Palatinate and Saarland over the weekend. On Friday, however, it could still be slippery due to freezing rain or sleet, the DWD said. There is an isolated risk of black ice, particularly in the Westerwald and the Palatinate Forest. Light snowfall is also possible at times in the eastern mountains. According to the DWD, temperatures are expected to reach two to six degrees on Friday.

On Saturday they climb to seven to ten degrees. It could rain in the afternoon, as well as at night. Temperatures are expected to reach eight to eleven degrees on Sunday, according to the weather service. It often remains free of precipitation.
